So einen großen Wollteppich kann man nicht einfach so reinigen. Wobei die Wolle den Schmutz sehr gut verhindert. Von meiner Oma kenne ich diese Methode und sie ist einfach und kostet nichts.
It is not easy to clean a carpet/rug this size. The wool prevents the dirt very well still it needs cleaning every year. I know this method from my grandmother, it is simple and costs nothing.

Mit einem Besen leicht einreiben und schnell wegkehren,
sonst ist der Teppich nass und trocknet schwer.
Rub lightly with a broom over the carpet and quickly sweep the snow away,
otherwise the carpet gets wet and takes too long to dry.

Kennt Ihr auch solche Tips von eueren Großeltern und Urgroßeltern? Ich wiederhole das jedes Jahr, so ist eine Teppichreinigung unnötig, da sie pro qm berechnet wird und fast so teuer ist wie ein neuer Teppich.
Do you know any other advice which comes from your grandparents and great-grandparents?
I repeat this procedure every year, so a carpet cleaning is unnecessary, since it is calculated per square meter and is almost as expensive as a new carpet.
